Bregenz

Bregenz is the capital of the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. Bregenz is located right next to Lake Constance. It is the third largest city in Vorarlberg after Feldkirch and Dornbirn. Bregenz has a population of just under 30,000.

Bregenz is home to the most important Austrian port on Lake Constance. Today the port is important for tourism. In the past, a lot of goods were transported across the lake in ships.
