Eye

The eye is a sensory organ with which one can see. Most vertebrates have two eyes, including us humans. There are also a few animals that have more eyes than we do and animals that have fewer eyes.

The simplest eyes can only distinguish between light and dark. The more developed ones can also perceive different colours. The most complicated eyes can look at a certain point and even adjust the visual acuity.
