History

History includes everything that happened in the past. The word is related to "happened", as in "something happened". But this history is something different from a story that someone tells to entertain others. This is because an account of history is meant to reflect as accurately as possible what happened in the past. However, the report cannot be completely accurate or complete, if only because we no longer know much about the past.
History describes how people lived in the past. Animals and plants and the earth also have a history, they have changed in the course of history. But then we speak of "natural history" or "earth history". So our history only means the history of people. The earliest period is called prehistory, it is also called prehistory or early history. But the real history only begins with the invention of writing. This history is divided into three major periods: Antiquity, the Middle Ages and Modern Times. We live in modern times.
Since history comes from "happened", it can also mean something else that happened. When someone tells a story, it does not have to be important to many people. It can also tell about invented things. In this case, the telling is more important than the actual event, which is why it is also called a narrative.
