Matrix(Film)

The science fiction cult film Matrix is set in a fictional future in which one of our most feared horror scenarios has come true: humanity has been enslaved by intelligent machines. These breed humans on huge plantations and use our bodies as a source of energy. Among other things, by dissolving corpses, which they then recycle. In these plants, people lie in an unconscious state and are controlled by the matrix. The matrix is a virtual reality that simulates our everyday lives.

In this illusory world, everything we do, see, smell and taste feels absolutely real. Whoever dies in the matrix also dies in the real world. Special protection programmes, so-called agents, maintain control of this virtual world. But there are some resisters, like Morpheus, Trinity and Neo, who can plug into the system at will and manipulate it. They fight the agents and want to free humanity from captivity.
