Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the state in the very northeast of Germany. It borders on the Baltic Sea and also on Poland. Its capital is Schwerin. The highest elevation in the state is the Helpter Mountains, which are 179 meters high. Moreover, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern belongs to the new federal states.
